What does your parking cost right now?
Photograph the rate sign at any Japanese coin car park. ParkTick reads the rules on your iPhone and runs a live meter, with a countdown to the next charge on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
Signs say more than 30分200円
The rules that cause surprise bills are in the small print. ParkTick reads them, and you check the result against your photo before the meter starts.
Day and night maximums, each capped within its own hours, every day.
Maximums that count from when you parked, applied once or repeating.
Different weekday and weekend prices, with Japan's national holidays built in.
Shop validation. Tell ParkTick you got it and the fee and countdown update.
Grace periods: free if you leave in time, charged from entry if you don't.
Opening hours, with a warning an hour before you could be locked in.
On your iPhone, while you're away from the car
Close the app and the countdown stays on the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen. A reminder arrives five minutes before the next charge.

A live meter
The current fee, the time parked, and what the next charge will be.

On the Dynamic Island
The countdown keeps running after you close ParkTick.

You confirm the rules
The photo sits next to what was read. Fix anything before you start.
No sign at the entrance?
Building car parks often keep their prices at the gate, the payment machine, or on a website.
Pick the car park nearby
Choose from car parks around you on Apple Maps to name and locate it.
Use a website screenshot
Screenshot the building's parking page and ParkTick reads it like a sign.
Rules other drivers confirmed
If you choose to share, rules you confirm help the next driver. They're marked verified once two people agree.
Entry time from your ticket
Photograph the 駐車券 and ParkTick sets when you parked.
In your language, signs in Japanese
The app supports English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese; this website is also available in Traditional Chinese. Signs are read in Japanese whichever language you choose.
Private by design
- No account, no ads, no tracking.
- Sign photos, your parking history and where you parked stay on your iPhone.
- Sharing rules is off until you turn it on, and you can delete what you shared at any time.
- Everything is sent over HTTPS. Rules you share are signed by a key kept in your iPhone's Secure Enclave, so no one can change or delete them but you.
Know the fee before you walk back to the car.
